Ikea Hack – Maskros Pendant Light

What do you do when you have a client with a 30 foot entryway and you can’t find the right “statement” chandelier? You make one! We love the Ikea Maskros Pendant Lamp but wanted to make it bigger and better, so we bought three fixtures to make into one chandelier. (Two large ones and one small one)

I have an amazing electrician who took on this project and helped build this fixture. I couldn’t have done it without him since it was way beyond my talent (and I don’t know how to rewire a light fixture) With some lamp cords and tie straps they were able to combine the three pendant lights into one big fixture. The final result was amazing! It fills up the space and definitely makes a statement! I just love how the petals shine onto the walls and ceiling.
